Hello, and welcome to the Allxplore Project - Footsteps Around The World Documentary Project.
Firstly, my future plan is to pack up my life and set off on a soul searching journey travelling around the world filming an unbiased, truth seeking documentary on every country I visit. A more accurate description of 'unbiased'would be, unmanipulated.
The footage will NOT be manipulated to tell a different, more interesting, false story.
The way we see it will be the way you see it.
I will be putting together a small group of people to join me on my travels. Actual numbers are still yet to be confirmed, but I’m hoping to put together a group of between 3-6 people, all with different personality traits and life skills, in hope to create a dynamic that not only viewers, subscribers and donators can get behind but also form individual connections with.
Our aim is to travel around the world, following a semi-planned route, documenting our experiences as we learn about our world and ourselves. We want to experience everything the world truly is, aiding anyone in need of assistance along the way, be it volunteering in soup kitchens or helping someone build a house. These examples are also very stereotypical and I would hope leads you to example that we aim to learn and seek the truth of the planet building new relationships along the way as well as working on our own group dynamic.
The first thing we would need to take into consideration is how we would fund a project like this? Our primary hope is to source the startup capital by crowdfunding. Creating a big online campaign that will hopefully succeed in creating enough hype and interest for us. One of our biggest hurdles with crowd funding is having to give the general public a reason to donate.
We are still currently working through ideas and proposals, but here are some examples of ideas we are throwing around:
One idea is to allow people who donate exclusive viewing rights to episodes deemed unsuitable for all ages. These episodes will go up in 3 tiers, with each tier increasing in mature content. Donation amounts would determine what footage is available. These episodes will be unavailable to those who do not donate.
Another is to offer crowdfunders the chance to get in on the action by being able to suggest activities for the Allxplorers to experience, film and upload.

As we already have the main camera we're going to film on, a Canon EOS 70D, accompanied by a handheld Panasonic camera, our expedition can, in theory, start. However, if our crowdfunding campaign is successful, we hope to be able to get a laptop powerful enough to edit and encode videos quickly on, as well as being small enough to carry and conceal, a GoPro for each Allxplorer, as well as audio recording equipment, accessories, SD cards, external hard drives and a subscription to Adobe for editing software and cloud access for a year. This list comes in at roughly £5250.
